A camping weekend to eat, drink and talk shite

Postby Prof-pat-pending » Tue Jan 10, 2017 9:36 pm

Ok, thinking caps on ;)
Putting the idea out here for you boys and girls to think about
A camping weekend in some neutral / central location
Somewhere that can accommodate caravans tents and even disabled facilities
The idea is max attendance to actually meet other members and get to know each other
Do you really want to get to a response incident with someone who you have never met and put your faith in them to watch your back so to speak
Not knocking anyone, but who actually knows more than a handful of other members?
We're all part of the same 'gang' so it would be handy if we actually knew each other
My suggestion is we all get together round the campfire eat, drink and talk shite
No politics, no agenda and no training etc - just social

Go on then, shoot me down or get behind it
Nick,Prof or whatever
Ps I'm just a grunt, same as the rest of you, this kind of doo shouldn't be top down organisation it should be bottom up
Nuff said,
Your turn.......................

As event coordinator for the team, I'll gladly support a responder-led event (makes my life easier) and can categorically support Nicks ability to organise a piss up in a brewery. Please Continue!

Doesn't bother me ;)

But I only know camping sites around my area
So it would be based local to me so northern end of the area
Would be better central

I'm looking at a social weekend, easter weekend as it's my daughters 18th. We've been arranging a few things before I opened the invitation to everyone. We will have the chipping steam fair site open to us. Further details to follow. :VOPI ::P

I'd be up for that, not got much camping gear as it's something I'm just starting to acquire. However I'm good at talking shite !!!!lol
