We are always on the lookout for new members, so if you have a passion for helping others, being part of a team and getting involved your in the right place.
Don’t worry if you have little or no off-road experience as we can guide you through step by step with our collective experience. We will also respect your own personal limits to how far you wish to go and tailor guidance to suit. Training days could consist radio training, map exercises or full days at a location for off road handling. Firstly we need to make sure that you know the basics of your vehicle, and to look at the equipment that you would carry with you.
As a responder you will be on the callout list to respond to callouts from various user bodies. During the year we also attend other events like shows and events, this work is very important to us as its funds our equipment and training. Responders are expected to try and support at least three events through the year.
